Skills today, confidence for life
Joyful movement, solid fundamentals
Classes for Everyone
Fun-first classes. Solid fundamentals. Big smiles.
At the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics (NAAG), our recreational program is where most families start—and stay! We’re all about movement, friendships, and confidence, taught in a warm, non-competitive environment. Kids learn through games, stations, and weekly themes, while our coaches quietly build the right shapes, safe landings, and great basics.
What makes NAAG Rec different?
Fun now, skills for life: We teach proper technique and progressions—rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bar swings, beam balance, strong shapes—so kiddos feel successful and safe.
A true choice of paths: Love rec? Stay rec! Want more later? Your child will already have the fundamental skills and correct technique to move into pre-team or competitive team when they are ready.
Rec and Team are separate: Different schedules, rotations, and coaching goals. Our name says “National Academy,” but don’t let that fool you—our rec side is 100% fun, friendly, and pressure-free.
How classes feel
Playful & positive: Small groups, upbeat music, lots of high-fives.
Progress you can see: Set lesson plans and simple goals each week so progress continues to build.
Safety first: Spotting, soft surfaces, and step-by-step progressions.
Good to know
Kids can start anytime; we place them where they’ll feel confident and successful.
Add a 2nd class per week and its 30%, add a 3rd and it 50% off.
