New Students

All students are entitled to one free trial class to verify desire and to aid in placement. Trial lessons must be scheduled in advance and can occur at any time of the year. Parent must fill create a online registration account before child attends class. Visiting friends or family of current students may not do a free trial lesson, drop-in rates could be available.

Our Teachers:

Our teachers are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified and specially selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging each child to exceed their perceived limitations. Our philosophy is “Where Fitness is Fun…Confidence Grows.” We strive for each class to be fun yet challenging so each child can continually expand on both their gymnastics and their overall love for learning.

Membership:

There is a $35.00 annual registration fee per student or $50.00 per family. Currently enrolled students receive discount pricing on open gyms a monthly statement and newsletter. Refer a friend and receive a $10 credit on your account when they join.

Tuition:

Tuition is paid monthly via direct deposit from your major credit card or direct debit on the 25th day of the preceding month.  We do not charge more for ‘long’ months or less for ‘short’’ months.

Missed Classes:

Actively enrolled students who miss a class for any reason may reschedule in any class of the same level.  Make-ups are not guaranteed, are based on availability, and expire 2 months after the missed class date or if un-enrollment occurs. Closure for holidays will have make-up classes available. We follow the 4J school weather closure announcements and will update on Facebook and phone as soon as more information is available.

Drop Procedure:

PARENTS MUST NOTIFY US IN WRITING OR DROP VIA OUR PARENT PORTOL. Please include any feedback you might have.

You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes whether or not your child attends.  If a student stops coming to class without notification your student’s account will be charged as we have other students that could have used the space reserved for your child.

Collection Policy:

Past due accounts will receive a second email 10-15 days after an account is overdue.  A phone call or hard copy bill will be sent for accounts 30-45 days overdue. At 45-60 days accounts will be charged an additional $15 and turned over to Tek-Collect for further processing.

What to Wear:

Boys or Girls may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts OR Leotards for Girls. Please no clothing with buttons, zippers or grommets. NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity.  Personal items should be left in cubby area. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. This facility’s staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name.

Skill Reviews/Progress Reports

Evaluations in class five times a year: the weeks of Nov. 7th, Jan. 9th, March 6th, May 8th and July 3rd.  Success cards with the skills children   have accomplished will go home the following week.  Progression charts are broken into three colors; beginning skills purple, intermediate green and advanced blue. When all skills in each color classification are completed for all events the gymnast will receive a bracelet band of that color. If lost replacement Skill Progression Charts are available through your instructor or behind the desk.

Arrival and Pick-up:

Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car. Gymnasts are not allowed in the gymnastics area prior to their class starting.  No gum, food or beverages on gymnastics floors.  Adults must stay off gymnastics floors at all times.

Private Lessons:

Lessons may be requested for currently enrolled or private lesson membership accounts only.  A private lesson membership can be purchased for an additional $150 annually. Accounts must be up to date on payments before private lessons can occur. Private lessons are to be booked and paid for through the front desk only. The rate and availability varies by coach.

Observation:

Parents are invited to observe classes but must remain in the seating section.  Children not in classes must remain in the seating section. Any child in the sibling play area must be supervised. No flash photography.

Lost & Found:

All items left at the gym will be placed in the lost and found cabinet.  Items left, lost or stolen are not the responsibility of The National Academy.  All items are donated to charity several times a year.

Parking:

NAAG parking spaces are available in front of the building.  There are additional spaces available on the sides of the building.
